Cubs Were Right To Send Bryant To Iowa

I agree 100% with the Cubs' decision to send 3B prospect Kris Bryant to AAA Iowa to begin the 2015 season. Getting an extra year of service time in the team's favor is crucial in baseball's inflated economic climate. The Cubs will survive without Bryant for the first month of the season.

Bryant's obnoxious agent Scott Boras should really keep his big trap shut. Boras has questioned the Cubs' commitment to winning by demoting his client. This is pure Boras rubbish. Boras could care less about the Cubs winning. All he really cares about is getting his clients to free agency so he can milk them for every last penny. Just the fact the Bryant's demotion has angered Boras so much is enough reason for me to do it.

Besides, the Cubs have had breakout springs from prospects Jorge Soler and Matt Szczur. If they transfer their spring number to the big leagues, the Cubs can easily wait for Bryant.
