Apparently the future is NOW! The Chicago Cubs have promoted IF Addison Russell from AAA Iowa for Tuesday night's game with the Pirates in Pittsburgh.
Russell was hitting .318 with 1 HR and 9 RBI's, 4 doubles in 11 games at Iowa. With Russell in the lineup maybe Joe Maddon can finally abandon his idiotic batting order (but of course he probably won't.)
