Matt Szczur Impressive in Cactus League Action
Cubs' outfielder Matt Szczur has impressed thus far in 2015 Cubs' spring camp in Arizona. Szczur was a highly prized signing out of Villanova a few years back and would be an ideal #2 hitter for the Cubs down the road (perhaps in 2015!) Szczur is hitting .324 this spring with 3 HR and 5 RBI, 2 doubles and 2 triples!

Kris Bryant's Torrid Spring Continues
Chicago Cubs' top prospect Kris Bryant continues to be red hot this spring during Cactus League action. Bryant homered twice on Saturday against the Seattle Mariners in Mesa (one of the long balls was off Seattle ace Felix Hernandez.) Bryant is hitting a cool .458 with 8 homers and 13 RBI's thus far in spring training action. Bryant looks like a lock to start for the Cubs on opening day.
Tony La Russa-Cub For A Day!
Hall Of Fame manager Tony La Russa played in one game for the Chicago Cubs in 1973. La Russa appeared as a pinch runner and scored a run (he would never play in the major leagues again.)
